Lazy Acres

Hi followers,

Oh my gosh!!!! I have not posted in 3 or 4 months. I need to get back on it! :)

Today, I am doin' a special review of a market that also has a Nekter or Jamba Juice like place and a cafe with all sorts of deliciousness. This place is Lazy Acres. Lazy Acres is a spectacular market that specializes in diets, health food, aromatherapy, detoxes, and organic cuisine. There are only two stores, however, in Long Beach near CSULB, where I live, and in the coastal resort city in Santa Barbara. When you walk in you smell the delicious juice smell along with the savory pizza, chicken smell. At the cafe/bar on Fridays they have all Paleo foods, for the Paleo person. They also have pizza and mac n cheese, pot roast, and much more. They have a great selection of different organic, non-gmo, vegan stuff, and everything for the health food enthusiast. I got a delicious Naked smoothie, but they also can make custom smoothies right there for you. The pizza was all I had and it was pretty good. The review was mainly not for the food but for the wonderful market itself.

PS. I am now vegetarian. :)

Pha Noodle

Hi!  A here with my weekly review!  Today I am reviewing a delicious Vietnamese place in Vista.  Pha Noodle!  You have probably already been there because there are multiple restaurants all over the world.  But I am talking about the one in Vista.  It is delicious.  My family and I go there all the time and we love it.  There are delicious egg rolls and noodles and even meat!  It has lots of TV's all around the restaurant so you can watch the latest news, and football games!  Now I think that is a win win situation.  You get to eat while still getting caught up in social media!  I don't know about you but I love this place.  You've got to try it!

Paradis Review

Hello! J here! Só sorry for not reviewing, but me and A are now back on track! Yay! Today, I will be reviewing Paradis, a scrumptious Ice Cream place in Long Beach. It originated in Denmark, but it is now also in Southern California with three locations: Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and Montrose. So, you have three options, unless you live in Denmark! It'd be great if we had global readers! I am working on that, by the way!!! We are branching out into three languages very soon: English, Spanish, and French. French will be posted on a lot, and it will come out on 1/27/15. We hope to expand more, after that! So, back to the review!!! :) I had Straciatella Chocolate Chip, which was very good. They even put chocolate shavings on top. I also tried the Sea Salt Caramel and I regretted getting Straciatella, because the Salted Caramel was just so fantastically delicious! If you are ever in Belmont Shore, go down to Paradis, and I guarantee you, you will love it. If you don't, I'll pay for your ice cream.

PS- they have this "LoveBox" option which is where you get a bunch of flavors in a little foam insulated box, so you can try 'em all. :)

Surf Brothers Terriaki Review

Hi J and A followers!  A here with my weekend review.  So sorry for the delay but I am back on schedule!  Today I am reviewing a local restaurant in Carlsbad.  Surf Brothers Terriaki!  This place is delicious.  They have great customer service, great food, and in a great place!  Usually I get the chicken terriaki bowls.  They come with a side of coleslaw and lots of terriaki.  It is not spicy but it still bursts with flavor!  Even my dad gets it!  It is a very family friendly restaurant with an awesome mural painted on the walls.  If you are looking for a great place with chicken, beef, or combo with terriaki Surf Brothers Terriaki is definitely the place to go!

Old Trieste

Hello J and A's readers! J here! This is my weekly review. Today, I will be reviewing *drum roll please* The Old Trieste Restaurant in the fun neighborhood of Bay Park in San Diego near SeaWorld. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays, but they opened it special for us for my grandma's surprise birthday party. For adults, they have a full-service bar with anything you can imagine. I had a Shirley Temple, which was delicious. They brought us salads, then pasta (fusili with either tomato sauce or butter and Parmesan, yummmmmmmm!), and then your food comes. We had the options of Veal Parmesan, Filet Marsala, and Sea Bass. I mainly had fusili, but I tried a bite of my mom's best friend's (who is A's aunt!) Veal Parmesan and it was yummy! We had got a cake and they were so kind to cut it up and bring it out to us. The service at Old Trieste was above and beyond amazing! The food was absolutely scrumptious. I would give Old Trieste an A+!! The Old Trieste is just splendid. If you go to Old Trieste and would like to share your experience, please share in the comments section.

Thank you so much!
